Handmade Shaving Soap In Travel Tin with Wooden Shaving Brush (175ml) This shaving soap is handmade from organic and natural ingredients at our Kapiti boutique skincare workshop. Colloidal Oatmeal soothes dry and sensitive skin as Oats contain polysaccharides, which have a gel-like texture when combined with moisture. This light gel leaves a protective layer over the skin that seals in skin’s natural moisture while also providing additional nutrients. For many with sensitive skin, the skin barrier function may be compromised, and a layer of Colloidal Oatmeal acts like a protective, second skin. Colloidal oatmeal also helps to even out skin tone and texture, hydrates dry skin and is an effective natural cleanser. Bentonite Clay from New Zealand is highly absorbent and good for oily skin. It gives a slippery silkiness which makes it good in shaving soaps. It works as a natural gentle cleanser and draws skin debris to the surface helping to eliminate blackheads. Manuka has been used by native Kiwi's for years due to its antibiotic and antifungal qualities. It is great for those with sensitive skins. Manuka is also known to be very helpful in the treatment of psoriasis and eczema prone skins.
